Credentialing Supervisor

Description Job Summary Oversees the status of Credentialing team, schedules and prepares reports, monitors and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality and timeliness goals and objectives. Participates in ongoing projects under the supervision of the Provider Relations Manager.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for team performance in order to achieve accurate and timely input of approved provider information into Tracking Tool Coordinates employee onboarding and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions Ensure provider credentialing process is completed in a timely manner Responsible for daily operational workflows including communication with internal and external business partners Ensures the use of best practice workflows and operations excellence Act as escalation point of contact for any issues as needed Assists with RFP's, adding new LOB's and building provider networks and credentialing requirements. Assists with resolving provider credentialing concerns Recommends process and system improvements Plans, designs and implements projects with moderate supervision from Provider Relations Manager Evaluates data on all aspects of credentialing process Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Competencies: Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative and be self-motivated Ability to effectively manage competing priorities with a sense of urgency Strong communication skills both written and verbal Excellent organizational and follow-up skills, with strong attention to detail Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to learn proprietary software Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Motivated, proactive and results-oriented Ability to understand, maintain and modify credentialing processes that conform to industry standard while understanding and respecting QTC Credentialing processes. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
