Internal Audit Supervisor Managers/Leaders TweetApply now Posted: November 17, 2018 Full-Time San Dimas, CA, United States Travel Required: Yes Job Details Description Job Summary: Supervises performance of operational, billing and payment audits to determine the reliability, accuracy and effectiveness of billing and payment systems, compliance with company policies and procedures, and compliance with contractualrequirements. Responsible for coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, workassignments, salary and recognition/disciplinary actions.  Oversees development of reports of findings and recommendations to management.  Direct support to divisions and departments in evaluating and recommending improvement to business practices, processes and control procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs and oversees team in internal audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures for operating and corporate units companywide. Performs audits of selected independent contracted providers and other vendors, to evaluate compliance withcontractual obligations Performs and oversees team in regular billing and payment auditing activities to ensure accurate billing and provider payments in compliance with appropriate contracts, CMS Medicare guidelines, and internal procedures for all lines of business Reviews and evaluates the adequacy, efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls in the Billing and Payment processes, and identify control deficiencies and improvement opportunities and develop recommendations for corrective actions Works closely with billing management and senior management to review external audits results, identifying concerns and providing recommendations Responsible for being current and knowledgeable in CMS Medicare billing and coding guidelines and communicating changes proactively and timely to ensure compliance Collects and analyzes data to detect deficient operational controls, duplicated effort, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, procedural requirements, contractual obligations, and management policies within the scope of Operations and various operating units Creates and implements audit programs and makes changes as required Prepares monthly and quarterly reports of audit findings, make recommendations, and conduct reviews and presentations to various levels of management Recommends, coordinates, implements, and follows up on corrective action plans with respective department/division managers Ensures the compliance of contractual obligations and procedural requirements of various operating units Analyzes and evaluates audit documentation and computer statistical data Performs research and analysis as required Responsible for employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, recognition/disciplinary actions, coaching, mentoring and development. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
