Manufacturing Technician - II

Apex Life Sciences is looking to hire a Manufacturing Technician II over in San Dimas, CA with a large biopharmaceutical client. This is a contract position with potential to extend or convert. Below is the job description for this role.


  • Works on the most basic assignments following detailed instructions, which incorporate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Master Batch Records and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

  • Reports to Team Lead on a regular basis on line performance and report any issues that need to be resolved.

  • Prepares equipment and components for sterilization.

  • Manually cleans, assembles and disassembles equipment for production.

  • Cleans manufacturing areas, including walls, ceilings and floors.

  • Accurately completes required documentation of events and tasks related to assigned work, including logbooks, batch records, etc.

  • Performs basic tasks to support filling process, including unloading product from lyophilizers.

  • Performs other basic tasks to support more senior staff with aseptic processing.

  • Takes variant action only with approval of department management.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
