The Position:
The Quality Improvement Analyst will play a vital role in supporting McKinleys mission by facilitating data-driven decision-making processes and ensuring exceptional service quality.
This position focuses on collecting, analyzing and interpreting data to drive quality improvement initiatives.
The QI Analyst collaborates with various stakeholders, including program leaders, supervisors, and frontline staff, to identify trends, measure performance, and develop strategies for enhancing McKinleys education, mental health, and social service programs.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep commitment to improving the lives of children and families in the community.

Benefits:
The pay range were offering is $65,000 - $75,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications:
Masters degree in a related field preferred; Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as social sciences, data science, statistics, public health, or a related field; Prior experience or familiarity with child welfare services, human services, or a related field is preferred; Strong analytical Ability Required; Strong understanding of electronic health records software, and administration management software Microsoft Office/ Google Suite Experience with statistical analysis techniques and proficiency in business intelligence software, statistical software, data visualization and reporting tools (e.
g.
SPSS, Power BI, Tableau.
) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present data analysis findings to team members with varying levels of technical expertise.
Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Familiarity with quality management systems and process improvement tools and their application in a non-profit or human service setting.
Key
Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Analysis:
Extract, prepare, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources and interpret the quantitative and qualitative data related to program performance, outcomes, and quality indicators.
Conduct statistical analysis and data modeling to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement based on data analysis.
Utilize data visualization techniques to present findings in a clear and meaningful way to stakeholders.
Quality Improvement Initiatives:
Design and implement quality improvement initiatives based on data analysis findings and program needs, including developing action plans, setting goals, and defining key performance indicators.
Monitor the progress and effectiveness of implemented quality improvement initiatives and current processes using operational metrics and reports, provide findings to decision makers, and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
Work with program leadership in building more efficient processes by utilizing and implementing quality process improvement tools and evidence-based interventions (e.
g.
introducing workflow charts and diagrams, and other tools) that might help in improving current processes.
Data Management and Reporting:
Generate comprehensive reports, summaries, and dashboards that communicate key findings and progress towards quality improvement goals, including, but not limited to, program and department key process indicators, client outcomes, internal and external stakeholder survey results, and serious behavioral incidents.
Develop and implement effective systems of data collection and reporting procedures as needed by different departments and ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality policies while handling sensitive information.
Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement using business analytics tools.
Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
Assist in managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
Collaboration and Communication:
Critically evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions alongside program leadership.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice standards of care.
Assist the agency in attaining and maintaining accreditation status through the Council on Accreditation (COA) and/or other accreditation bodies by participating in audit preparedness activities, including preparing reports, narratives, graphs, charts, etc.

Training and Capacity Building:
Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in data collection, analysis and quality improvement tools and methodologies.
Provide training, technical assistance and guidance to report users.
Participate in the training of employees on legal, contractual, regulatory and accreditation standards.
Be familiar with agency operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating program objectives and formats of existing processes.
Actively participate in the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process as assigned.
Other related duties as assigned.
